At Flare Department, we specialise in high-end photography and video, working for the best names in real estate, interior design, architecture, and hospitality, as well as brands. To continue delivering world-class imagery for high-level clients – we’re looking for a skilled photographer to join our creative team in Amsterdam.

What will you do?

Your role is all about crafting high-quality images, blending your style with our signature look. This is an opportunity to shoot high-end projects and refine your craft, in a fast-paced creative environment. Most of your time will be spent photographing a variety of properties – from charming canal houses to modern city apartments. Creative control is key to us, which is why we handle both photography and editing in-house. You’ll work closely with our team of creatives and project managers, delivering every project on time and at the highest standard.

What we expect from you

• Good knowledge of photography and a detail-driven eye, backed by a portfolio;
• Experience in interior photography is a plus, but not essential. We have experts who can mentor you;
• A passion for interiors, design and architecture;
• A strong and confident communicator;
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop;
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus);
• A driver’s license;
• Proactive, eager to learn, and cheerful;
• Able to work with tight deadlines;
• An ambitious mindset (to match ours!);

What we offer you

• Based on your experience, the salary indication is between €2700 – €3600,- based on a 40-hour work week;

• A fixed-term contract of 2 years immediately, with a two-month trial period; the number of hours per week is negotiable;

• A cosy studio in the center of Amsterdam with two stubborn, but cuddly dogs;
• Fresh lunch at the studio, plus boozy drinks and team nights;

Interviews

Our recruitment process consists of three rounds: Round 1: an initial interview. Round 2: a practical assignment. Round 3: Lunch with the team at our studio. This vacancy closes on March 7, 2025.
