At Flare Department, we specialise in high-end photography and video, working for the best names in real estate, interior design, architecture, and hospitality, as well as brands. To continue delivering world-class imagery for high-level clients – we’re looking for a skilled photo editor to join our creative team in Amsterdam.

What will you do?

Your role is all about refining and retouching images shot by our photographers, ensuring they align with our signature style and client expectations. Attention to detail is key – you’ll quickly spot continuity issues and maintain consistency in colour grading. Working closely with photographers and our creative director, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Your expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom will stay sharp, keeping up with the latest trends and techniques.

What we expect from you

• A solid, detail-driven eye for photography editing, backed by a portfolio;
• Experience in interior photography editing is a plus, but not essential;
• 3+ years experience with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop;
• Strong independent work ethic with the ability to thrive alongside a team;
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus);
• Proactive, eager to learn, and cheerful;
• Able to work with tight deadlines;
• An ambitious mindset (to match ours!);

What we offer you

• Based on your experience, the salary indication is between €2700 – €3600,- based on a 40-hour work week;

Interviews

Our recruitment process consists of three rounds: Round 1: an initial interview. Round 2: a practical assignment. Round 3: Lunch with the team at our studio. This vacancy closes on March 7, 2025.
