Chrisma Villa
When Chrisma approached us to photograph their latest project in Knokke, Belgium, we knew right away that this wasn’t about simply capturing high-end finishes or stylish interiors. This home, developed by Chrisma and brought to life with the soft, refined interiors of Valerie Vercruysse, was designed with feeling in mind. Our role was to ensure the photography did the same.
Chrisma builds homes that are warm, inviting, and infused with understated luxury. Their spaces don’t dazzle with excess — they glow with intention. So, rather than simply documenting the interior architecture, we focused on translating the atmosphere of the space: the flow of light across honey-toned wood, the quiet softness of transitional spaces, and the way every room calls you to breathe a little deeper
This kind of production requires both sensitivity and structure. From the first creative brief, we worked closely with Chrisma to understand the intention behind every design choice. Our in-house team carefully mapped out a plan to shoot across ideal lighting conditions, making use of natural light to echo the tone of the interiors. Then came the creatives, establishing compositions on set, followed by color and editing work — all fine-tuned to capture the true life of the home. Keeping the images natural yet refined requires a delicate balance to ensure they’re true to the space as it lives and breathes.

The result is a set of images that carry more than aesthetic value. They tell a story of comfort, connection, and care — values that define Chrisma’s approach, and align deeply with ours.
At Flare Department, we’re not just here to make spaces look good. We’re here to help design-driven brands like Chrisma communicate through imagery — with clarity, with feeling, and with a signature style that elevates both the story and the space.
