Photography for Cue Amsterdam
Cue Amsterdam
This Japanese-inspired listening bar brings together the intimacy of Michelin-level dining and a space built entirely around atmosphere and sound. Designed by Gwen Hoopman, Cue Amsterdam is defined by mood. Low light, rich textures, and a quiet energy anchor the experience.
We approached this interior photography project by leaning fully into that character. The subdued lighting became an advantage, allowing us to focus on the textures, the craftsmanship, and the intimate pockets of stillness that shape every room. Each frame was composed to reflect the space’s calm intensity and the thoughtful detailing behind it.
The final series highlights Hoopman’s design in the context of a hospitality concept where dining, listening, and spatial design meet.

“Shooting in light like this can be challenging, but it allowed us to focus on what matters most: its design and moody atmophere.”
