Inside a 1970s Dutch Modernist home, Decolegno’s custom cabinetry anchors two very different rooms. For us, that meant two very different approaches. This bespoke interior design photography project captures how custom interior solutions can transform a space while remaining entirely at home within it.

The interior of the kitchen is white, open, and deliberately neutral. Shot on a heavy snow day, the light coming through the windows was strong and flat, the kind that can easily subdue a space. Our focus was on working with that light rather than against it. We used the contrast between the bright room and the deep green of Decolegno’s cabinetry to give the space life. Colour, texture, and joinery needed to be shown clearly. We moved in close enough to highlight the quality of the material and wide enough to show how it sits within the room.

The lounge was a different story entirely. Darker, warmer, filled with shadow and vintage furniture. The interior has an analogue quality that the burnt orange cabinetry only deepens. Where the kitchen required precision and contrast, this room asked for atmosphere. We leaned into the depth, letting the shadows and rich tones do the work.

Two rooms, two moods, but one consistent thread. Showing how Decolegno’s work doesn’t just occupy a space, but belongs to it. That’s what our bespoke interior design photography is for.
