Photography for Ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy
Ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy
Designed by Mulderblauw, the interiors of Ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy are built around vibrancy and atmosphere. This hotel interior photography project began there — with spaces that each carry their own identity through colour, texture, lighting, and artwork by local artists.
That variety made the work both creatively rich and technically demanding. Our role was to find a unified visual language across the different spaces — balancing the individuality of each room with a consistent photographic approach that aligned with both the hotel and Mulderblauw’s design vision.
Working closely with Mulderblauw’s design team, we focused on bringing out the mood, materiality, and layered detailing throughout the hotel. The final series of our hotel interior photography captures a collection of interiors that feel immersive, expressive, and distinct. All while still belonging to the same overall hospitality experience.

“Mulderblauw designed each space to feel like its own dream world. We had to make sure the photography didn’t flatten that.
The images needed to hold that same surreal quality, drawing you in rather than just documenting what was there.”
