JV Residence
In this early 1900s home, timeless charm meets modern comfort. After nearly three decades of living here, the homeowners sought a renovation that honored their layered, personal style — without erasing the soul of their residence.
Designers Ramses Caesar and Sebastiaan van Maanen took on the challenge. Cool tones bring freshness to a calm, neutral base, while warm woods, metal details, and statement marble add depth and richness throughout.
We were invited to capture the transformation — leaning into the home’s quiet sophistication and expressive detail. The designers asked us to highlight their carefully chosen materials, textures, and objects, showing how each element contributes to the overall interior.

In every frame, we aimed to reflect the craftsmanship that defines the project — from hand-painted stripes in the primary bedroom, easily mistaken for wallpaper, to the bespoke bathroom tiling.

“It’s a home that feels not just redesigned, but rediscovered.”
