Keizersgracht Residence

Wonderstruck and BNLA Architects undertook a complete transformation of a 480m² canal home along Amsterdam’s Keizersgracht. They invited us to document the newly reimagined interior, where 18th-century grandeur and contemporary restraint exist in thoughtful balance.

Photographing the home called for an approach that respected its heritage while capturing the details that make it feel timeless: sweeping staircases, hand-carved ornaments, and original period windows – all standing in contrast to modern furnishings, curated art, and refined materials.

After the shoot, we invited Wonderstruck to join us during the editing session. Collaborating like this with interior designers helps ensure accuracy in tone and materiality. They know the space intimately, and we bring our signature visual style. Staying true to both is essential.
