Perched above the Balearic coastline, these two villas by SAOTA sit in precise relationship with the landscape around them. Commissioned by Grand&Johnson, we were brought to Mallorca for a luxury real estate photography and film project. Textures feel deliberate, materials speak of their origins, and every opening frames a view worth holding.

Two villas, Luna 1 and Luna 3, share the same architectural DNA but each tells its own story. SAOTA’s signature approach connects structure to landscape — giving each space a logic that runs from the foundations to the roofline. Producing two films and two photography series in a single trip required precision. Each villa needed its own visual narrative without the work feeling repetitive across the pair.

Our lens moved between stillness and motion. A single image holds the weight of a room. A film sequence captures the way light shifts across stone and water through the day. Alongside the shoot, we developed a broader marketing communication plan for Grand&Johnson — ensuring the imagery reached luxury real estate buyers and design audiences across the right channels.
