NYX Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandt Square
When the brand’s newest location arrived at Rembrandt Square, Amsterdam, it brought colour, energy, and an unapologetically urban design language. That’s what defines NYX Hotels (part of Leonardo Hotels). We were brought in to capture it, through a hotel brand film production and in photography.
The Film
A hero brand film sits at the heart of the project, built to match the pace of the hotel and the personality of the brand. Alongside it, we produced shorter edits focused on specific experiences — indoor spaces, outdoor areas, food, and the rooms. Each was crafted with its final usage in mind, while contributing to the wider visual identity of the property.
Working closely with their team, the brief pushed us to shoot differently than we usually do, granting us a lot of creative freedom, and a lot of fun, putting this film together. NYX moves fast. The brand is built around energy, social interactions, and bold creativity. Its lifestyle spills out onto the city’s doorstep, and Amsterdam is part of the story. The film had to reflect that spirit: the nightlife, the sense of connection, the feeling that something is always happening just outside the door.
The Photography
The photography brief had two sides: show the design clearly, and capture the lifestyle and energy NYX is known for. Both lean into light play alongside the space’s own colour and character, sometimes with models in action. The result is a series of interior and lifestyle images that show the hotel’s vivid atmosphere and personality.
What started as a simple concept became one of the most energetic hotel brand film productions we’ve taken on, built to capture the energy, creativity, and social atmosphere that makes this destination so unique.
