Thermory

Hidden in the east of the Netherlands, this angular tiny house is a striking expression of mindful design — a compact structure with a bold architectural presence. Designed by Thermory, its clean lines and modest footprint are grounded in a material story rooted in sustainability.

The house is wrapped in a warm, organic texture, clad in Thermory’s thermo-ash shingles — crafted using only heat and steam. This distinctive surface reflects the brand’s commitment to eco-conscious design. We were commissioned to capture not just the structure’s architectural form, but its sustainable ethos — highlighting the materiality of the wood, its dialogue with the landscape, and the sense of retreat, simplicity, and modern craftsmanship it evokes.

Every image was designed to convey not just how this angular tiny house looks — but how it lives in harmony with its environment.

To tell this story, we focused on the contrasts that make this cabin so compelling: sharp geometry softened by natural textures, strong silhouettes set against an organic backdrop, and innovation grounded in sustainable materials. Wide shots establish the building in its natural setting, while close details reveal the tactile richness of the timber.
