WE ARE EDN by Hilton

DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam invited us to capture their new dining concept, WE ARE EDN — a vibrant, design-led restaurant built around sustainable dining and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Designed by WeWantMore, the interiors are welcoming, colour-rich, and playful, echoing the philosophy behind the food.

WE ARE EDN represents the global rollout of a new Hilton dining concept, making this more than a restaurant photography brief. The imagery needed to introduce a brand-new hospitality identity to audiences who had never encountered it before. Every frame had to communicate warmth, energy, and the kind of considered design that makes a dining space feel genuinely worth visiting.

We photographed the space across multiple days, capturing its atmosphere from daylight to dusk. The light shifts significantly through the day in a space this colourful and textured, and shooting across both natural and artificial light conditions was essential to capturing the full character of the interior. In addition to the interior shoot, we created a vibrant food series with lifestyle elements that highlight the joy of the menu.

As always, it was a collaborative process with the Hilton team, working closely to ensure the imagery conveyed the restaurant’s spirited yet refined character in the lead-up to its opening. The project was subsequently featured across five publications including The Art of Living and Hospitality Management.
